“Consequences of abandoning the development of child’s personality in Republic of Moldova” is a very big and actual problem, and namely – the social action oriented to the information/perception by the society/situation of both the needs of child development and the prevention, support, orientation and offering timely help to the women at risk of child abandonment. Some specialists state that the children develop well if their basic needs are satisfied, independently of the conditions they live in. But not a lot of them approve this idea, thinking that, in the case when the children are at risk, it is necessary to “normalize” both the social and the family environment, because it is the family where the child raises and develops best. The child may not be supported by ignoring his family, especially when he is separated from his mother. In such case, there are also necessary such social services, which could ensure a future to the mother – child couple.
