Affirmation of political science as distinct science and discipline of study from the beginning of ’90, 20’th century in Republic of Moldova it was a logical consequence of democratic transformation that refers to the process of evaluation. A valuable contribution to the object, epistemological status and the degree of scientific spirit of political science belongs to scholar Alexandru Zavtur who has devoted his efforts investigating various problems with political science data. He is one of the first author of textbooks of political science of postsovietic space period. He was the first who developed philosophy glossary guiding in Romanian language and he has trained dozens of doctoral students. He was a prominent personality, prominent moldovan political science and prominent figure of higher education from Republic of Moldova, of the 20th century. He appeared as prodigy and a good organizer of educational and scientific process. Al.Zavtur published over 400 works plus 40 books, brochures and textbooks.
