Rezumat

The process of production internationalization that is currently underway all over the world is accompanied by the internationalization of labor force. Labor migration has become an element of the international economic relations. Migration flows pour from some countries and regions into the other. Causing certain problems, labor migration is beneficial for both: sending and receiving countries. World community that has recently felt the size, idiosyncrasies and consequences of migration processes on the international level faced the necessity to coordinate the joint efforts of many countries to solve the problems and collectively regulate labor migration processes. In this context, the regulation of female migration and an increasing number of problems plays an important role. The experts regard the feminization of migration flows, i.e. an increase in the proportion of female migrants, as a characteristicс of a new stage in the development of the international labor migration. Currently, we should not connect female migration with social risk and criminal activity only. Marginalization of female migrants is a social construct reflecting the general gender asymmetry in social sphere (low social status of women). The acuteness of social problems referring to female labor migration should not hide the positive sense of migration itself, as labor migration mobility is one of the most important indicators for social mobility in the modern world.
