| Rezumat | ||||||
The article is based on informal interviews with Moldovan female labour
immigrants. It is limited in space to only one destination country – Italy; it is
limited in time – all the meeting took place from 2002 onwards; it is also
gender specific – all the respondents were exclusively female. The article is
arranged around seven headlines covering several stages of immigration
starting from issuing visa, arranging transportation, arrival, accommodation,
and first job, difficulties, to a final decision to settle in Italy or to return
back to Moldova. |
