The article examines the achievements and the problems of political science at the Faculty of International Relations, Political and Administrative Sciences during the period of 10 years of its existence. A special role and place is given to the analysis of the scientific staff, the structure of the scientific personnel, preparation of teachers by means of studies for the doctor’s degree, the institutions of competitors of post-doctorate studies. The problem of defending doctor’s thesis and Doctor’s of Science in political science. At the same time the article analyses the quantitative and qualitative results of the political science at the Faculty of International Relations, Political and Administrative Sciences, scientific directions of the staff of the Chairs: Political and Administrative Sciences and Chair of International Relations. The scientific cooperation of the faculty with other institutions at the national and international levels is also analyzed in the given article.
