The article discusses the perception of the native language in the work of writers of Gagauz origin. In the Soviet era, a very small number of works on this topic were written. With the onset of the transformation period, which began in the late 80s, the number of references to the topic of the native language increases significantly. The authors admire the beauty of the Gagauz language, its melodiousness. Writers and prose writers express concern that the Gagauz language is very slowly expanding the scope of its functioning, that it is no longer spoken even in villages. The native language is endowed with such epithets as beautiful, melodic, sweet, compared with a flower and a treasure. The highest degree of sacralization is achieved by comparing the native language with the Madonna. In addition, there is also a mention of the genetic characteristics of the language. In this case, poetic works emphasize that our language is Oguz. At the same time, the authors point to the proximity of the Gagauz language with the languages of other Turkic-speaking peoples. |
