School and vocational guidance is a system of actions in which an individual or group of people is helped to choose their educational institution, respectively their profes-sion, in accordance with their own abilities and skills and social requirements. Creating a professional career is a process that takes place throughout life, starting early with the educatio-nal path and continuing with the professional one. The choice of a profession can be seen as a fragment of an integral organizational system of the individual's relationship with the envi-ronment, which forms the basis of personality. Continuous work gives the person the opportunity to increase his physical and mental abilities. The efficiency of the work depends on the confor-mity of its individual characteristics with certain requirements imposed by the profession. |
