The article presents the concept of logic problem and its role in the forma-tion of elementary representations in the field of mathematics in primary school students. It reflects how the problem of logic is an effective teaching tool in the educational process in math classes in primary school. The importance is identified, namely: the development of critical thinking and analytical spirit in young school-age students. Examples of logic problems proposed by primary school math textbooks and problems from other sources are presented, followed by a didactic interpretation of the process of solving them.
