Rezumat | |||||
Founded in the spring of 1866, as a symbol of modernity, the Romanian Academy proved to be a cultural parliament of all Romanians. The first scholars to become its members represented the Romanians outside the Romanian State. From Bessarabia
there were selected Alexandru Hasdeu, Costache Stamate and Ioan Strajescu. Bessarabia has been continually in the attention of the Romanian Academy. At present, the Romanian Academy maintains a lively exchange and scientific cooperation on multiple plans with the Chisinau Academy. |
