Rezumat | ||||||
The aim of the article is to investigate the ways of development of paternity leaves in modern family policies. One of the modern tools that ensure the combination of employment with paternity and motherhood are paternity leave. Development parent leaves should be considered primarily in the context of the spread of gender equity, which ultimately positively affects the birth rate, employment, the opportunity to combine parental responsibilities and other areas of human life. The experience of European countries regarding the introduction of paternal vacations is useful to use in the family policy of Ukraine, drawing attention to the existing cultural differences. Involvement of fathers in the upbringing of children can be accelerated by a more flexible and individual approach to the provision of holidays, the provision of cash or material bonuses, the holding of an informational campaign. |
