Rezumat

Let  omega be a population composed of individuals having the same characteristics. We can compare them according to several numeric criteria: wealth, height, income,schooling, health, age, notoriety, etc. Thus any individual \i" may be characterized by a vector xi with d components, where d is the number o measured characteristics.
