Children with disabilities also have the same basic needs in growth and development as all children, so the ability to relate to others, the confidence to adapt to new situations and changes, the need for affection and security, appreciation and positive reinforcement, responsibility and independence - all this produces a spectrum of unique traits for each child. Knowing the child with mild mental disabilities from the perspective of the structure and dynamics of his personality is one of the challenges of our research. poor differentiation between representations in the same category, similar to each other; rigidity of representations, lack of dynamism, flexibility, insufficient correlation with personal experience, gradual loss of representations already formed, transposition with weight and inaccuracy of spatial elements (position, size, shape), which denotes difficulties in spatial representation. |
