Globally, depending on the level of development of cities, the need to move the inhabitants was been met according to different models of public transport organization. When developing the principles for an integrated transport system, the profitability of public transport should be taken into account which is not assessed on the basis of its own balances of income and expenditure, but, depending on its useful social effects, have an impact on city life in western cities, the social role of urban passenger transport results from well-defined objectives, and its financing is a matter for the whole community and not just for transport companies or local authorities. |
