Rezumat

In this period, however, as well as in subsequent times, covering the entire Soviet era, regional newspapers meet the ideological requirements of the Soviet era. The vast majority of articles are devoted to the labor successes of workers and peasants, whose ethnicity could be determined only by their last names. The main emphasis in propaganda was placed on the formation of the identity of a citizen of the Soviet Union and a citizen of the Moldavian SSR. The newspaper contributed to the formation of local regional identity. First of all, it concerns the development of a sense of fellowship at the level of the village and district. In this regard, the manifestation of the labor successes of the inhabitants of one or another settlement was very effective, which should have caused a feeling of pride in their fellow villagers. The feeling of fellowship was also formed through the publication of materials about conscripts who served in the ranks of the Soviet army. For the first time, the ethnonym Gagauz is found in the newspaper in 1953 in the article “On the Gagauz people”. This material provides statistical data on the number and settlement of the Gagauz and hypotheses about their origin. In addition, the ethnonym “Gagauz” and the definition of “Gagauzian” were recorded in 1958 in the article “Review of folk talents”, dedicated to the review of amateur art activities of schoolchildren in the district. In this case, these lexemes are used in the combination “Gagauz national dance”, “Gagauz folk dance”, “Gagauz folk instruments”. The names of the Gagauz dances “Kadynzha”, “Kerats Avasy”, “Gyuz Ava”, “Farley Kundak” are mentioned for the first time on the pages of this newspaper. Thus, during this period, ethnic themes dedicated to the Gagauz are extremely rare. However, there is a tendency to indicate the original nature of the Gagauz ethnic community in a few publications.
