Urban Development Reflected in Territorial Identity Elements. Case Study: Cluj-Napoca Municipium. In this paper, we analysed gardens of some individual houses in Cluj-Napoca Municipium with the aim of identifying territorial identity elements. First, based on specialty literature, we presented briefly the features of gardens (area, location, design, functions, and access) and we analysed the components of landscape design – natural and human made elements. Then, starting from the photos we realised on several streets in the municipium, we analysed gardens, underlining the elements of urban identity, landscape, and aesthetics. Such a study could be proposed to pupils, university students, and to other students that are forming and developing their competences of urban territorial planning and arrangement.
