Rezumat

The state and perspectives of updating standards in field of water in the Republic of Moldova. This paper describes the results of the study on problems of updating the regulatory system in the water field from the Republic of Moldova after the independence. The issue of the use and protection of water resources is particularly acute in Moldova, a country with high human population density and mainly agrarian, with old traditions in agriculture. The purpose of the present work is the analysis of the development of the standardization characteristic databases and solving problems highlighting the regulatory framework in section "APA" in Moldova in the context of the requirements of EU directives, the International Organization for Standardization and sustainable development. Research objectives were: the environmental normative-methodical basis of the Republic of Moldova, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the European Union and Russia; Agenda 21 of the Republic of Moldova, policies, strategies, programs and others to the environmental compartment "WATER". Research Methods: The study of databases, catalogs and other official materials of international and national organizations in water field; Collecting materials and training databases, selective and comparative analysis of normative acts on the water in the Republic of Moldova, ISO, European Union and Russia. Results: On the basis of the studied materials was created a permanent database of normative acts in the field of water. The results demonstrated that at the moment - the anniversary of 23 years of independence (August 27, 1991) of the Republic of Moldova – there are 351 standards, of which 297 MS standards, 53 GOST standards and one STAS standard. The level of harmonization with international requirements reached to 84,6 %. Also it has been studied the basics of ISO and EU normative acts. This paper presents the characteristics of the state and some results of qualitative and comparative analysis of normative acts from various sources, the dynamic development of standard’s system in the water field of the country and their compliance with the requirements of EU environmental policy and sustainable development of the Republic of Moldova . The final part of the paper presents the conclusions and some proposals for the development of standardization and its implementation modalities in use and protection of water resources and objects in Moldova.
