The House of Lords of Great Britain had to give a report on the case of Pinochet concerning the compatibility of mandate for temporary arrest of senator Pinochet, issued by an English judge after a request from Spain, and the immunity which belonged to him as a former head of state. In accordance with the decision of the Court a former head of state enjoys the immunity in the time when he executes his function, which doesn’t include the immunity from arrest or extradition connected with the commitment of “international crimes”. |
