The specialized literature in the field of ethics presents the concept of management ethics in different fields of activity. The subject of sports management ethics is not very well highlighted in the local literature, as the “sports industry” is constantly evolving. Sport has a strong impact on national culture, influencing the values of millions of spectators and participants. The Council of Europe’s definition of sport is “all forms of physical activity which, through more or less organized participation, aim at expressing or improving physical and psychological fitness, developing social relationships or achieving positive results at all levels of competition”. The current study is an analysis of the tools of managerial ethics in sports institutions and highlighted the major role of the manager of sports organizations in developing the institutional framework for ethical behavior. |
