The Nobel Prize - 2001 in physics was awarded to the physics Eric Cornell, Wolfgang Ketterle and Carl Wieman for
experimental creation and observation of a new state of the matter - Bose - Einstein quantum macroscopic condensation of the atoms. This discovery, appreciated on the highest level, may be considered as a new triumph of the quantum physics which
celebrates this year a centenary from its birthday. |
