Starting from the premise that educational institutions function based on the specific rules of an organization, in close connection with the ever-changing social environment, one needs to take a systemic approach both in the institutional analysis and for the psychological assistance within schools. When the educational institution faces the need for development, the psychologist is required to respond to the challenges regarding the successful implementation of strategic changes at the institutional level. In this process, the psychologist has an essential role – they initiate and implement together with the decision-makers programs of organizational development. Given the “multiple organizational demands”, we discuss the role of school psychologists in the process of organizational change within educational institutions. |
