Rezumat

As a rule, the trademark is perceptible as being a word or a static bidimensional representation, a design or slogan, images or combinations thereof. The words may be both natural and artificial. The trademark may also be constituted of geometrical figures or numbers, or combinations thereof. The images may be both abstractionists and reproductions of certain natural objects. With the technical-scientific progress these types of trademarks are not sufficient to capture the consumer attention any more, therefore the producers resort to the diversification of the trademark types in order to enlarge their chances in the competitive fight, thus, during the last decades there appeared a series of trademarks which are less known by the public and may be characterized as being nontraditional trademarks. Among them one can outline the aromas, the sounds, the color, the shape of the product and of the package, the dynamic images, the configurations, the taste etc.
