Background. The contact with medical substances at the pharmaceutical plant is unavoidable for the employees. Working day by day under the direct contact with drugs, undoubtedly leaves a harmful mark on the employee’s health. Objective of the study. Drug particles assessment in the occupational air at the pharmaceutical plant of antibiotics manufacturing proces. Material and Methods. Investigations have been performed using appliances for dust level concentration measurement at the occupational place. The air samplings by aspiration of airborne particles in the amount of 100 liters air volume from the employee respiration level, of 10 samples for each drug product were done. At the internationally accredited pharmaceutical enterprise laboratory physical and chemical methods Results. The concentration of Doxiciclin 100 mg dust particles in the air was 0.0179 – 0,116 ppm/l, but the concentration of Fluconazol 150 mg was 0.019 – 0.025 ppm/l. Conclusion. The received data have shown the presence of dust of the active substance of medicine products at the occupational place. |
