Background. New data were obtained on the molecular mechanisms of antiproliferative, antiinvasive, antiangiogenic, vasoprotective, antiatherogenic, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory action exerted by bioactive compounds (BC), obtained by directed modification of some natural compounds. Objective of the study. To study the influence of some BC on the total protein, pseudocholinesterase (PCE) and some carbohydrate metabolism indices (lactate dehydrogenase, isomer L (LDH-L) and lactate) of the human periferic blood by the in vitro testing. Material and Methods. The influence of CMT-67, MG-22, TIA-23, TIA-160, CMT-28, in the doses of 10 mM/L and 1 mM/L was tested in vitro, according to the method developed by Ryzhikova et al. (2011), in our modification (2012). The protein and carbohydrate metabolism indices - the total protein, PCE, LDH-L and lactate were determined in the supernatant of human periferic blood by in vitro testing. Results. The study revealed that PCE increased statistically significant by 40%-70% by the all tested compounds. The amount of proteins decreased conclusively by 3%-5% under the influence of compounds CMT-67-1mM/L, MG-22 (both doses) and TIA-160 (both doses), but TIA-123-10 mM/L produced a 5% veritable statistical increase. LDH-L activity increased veritable statistically by 136%-237% after administration of all tested compounds, that stimulate the aerobic glycolysis. The level of lactate on the contrary diminushed significant by 4%-16%, because it represents the substrate for LDH-L. Conclusion. The influence of the tested BC on the studied indices of the protein and carbohydrate metabolism was manifested by increased PCE and LDH-L activity and reduction of protein and lactate levels. Larger studies are needed in the future to find out the main mechanisms of the BC influence. |
