The article considers the problematic issues of the organization of social services during a pandemic. The normative-legal acts regulating the work of social protection institutions during quarantine have been studied, and appropriate proposals have been made to improve the current legislation. The measures carried out by the heads of social protection institutions, in order to prevent the infection and the spread of COVID-19 among employees and wards of inpatient facilities, are outlined. Incentive measures applied to employees in their working conditions during a pandemic are analyzed. The article identifies the main problems faced by social workers in the exercise of their powers.
