The purpose of this paper is to study the relationship between rationality and decision making. The benefit of learning in the decision-making process, derived from its results will be explained as a specific objective. We show the findings of different information systems decision models. The specific benefit of learning in the decision-making process is explained. The initial hypothesis is that the organisation, as a social system, seeks to maintain the balance between the behaviour that determines the positions of people and the structure of values and beliefs shared among them, but that is bounded to the decision-making method of the decision maker or of the leader. All these decisions involve a vast number of resources to reach to the ultimate goal or objective but the end of the foundation of any operational, tactical, and strategic success depends on what sort of decision-making methods were used in the long run of the organization. |
