The article considers the economic development of territories as a process from which the whole community, including local authorities, businesses and citizens, will benefit; the main tasks and functions of local authorities in the implementation of the policy of economic development of territories are analyzed; it is proved that the development of skills of attracting financial resources from all available sources is a key success factor in the implementation of any initiatives in the field of local economic development, substantiated ways to expand sources of funding for local economic development. |
