Unlike the Republic of Moldova, for many CIS countries the issue of legislative regulation of blockchain technology products and the cryptocurrency sphere is not something abstract. The relevant legislative or subordinate regulations have either already been adopted or are in the final stage of adoption. The partners of the Republic of Moldova in the Community have a different vision of the role, place and legal status of the cryptocurrency market in the national financial system. From full and complete support (the Republic of Belarus), to an extremely cautious, prudent approach (the Russian Federation). It seems that our state, being at the very early stage of building the legal framework for new socio-economic relations, can avoid the mistakes of neighboring countries and, taking into account their experience, take a balanced position on this issue. One thing is absolutely clear - restrictive measures alone in the way of new technologies will not have a positive impact on the development of the national economy.
