The human person feels his well-being through the prism of his vital needs. In democratic societies, the common constitutional rule on respect for individual liberty and personal security requires a special design and a number of specific methodological and procedural rigors in the security process. Success in ensuring the security of the human individual in democratic societies, at all stages and levels of the security process, is closely linked to the effectiveness of the effort to adapt security standards and form standardized approaches in response to dangers and risks, but also to the most real and eminent security threats, as well as to the objectives, to requirements and values promoted by the theory of human security through its inherent principles. The safety of the person is strictly related to ensuring human security.
