Rezumat

The possibilities and perspectives of gamete selection regarding the resistance of the osmoses Recently, on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, a lot of droughts have been registered which have a negative impact on the agricultural plants. In this regard, the selectioners meet the real necessity to look for genetic resources and creation of new hybrids and plant varieties resistant to the drought. The disadvantages of this factor consist in considerable diminution of the yield capacity and of the total productive rate of the cultures. That’s why, the issue of evaluation and selection of genotypes with strong capacity of resistance to different levels of plant development, is very actual. Untraditional express methods which suppose to evaluate the viability and resistance of micro-gametes can be estimated as economic and of perspective, taking into account the level of manifestation of the same genes at the gametophyte and sporophyte levels of the life cycle of plants. The aim of our research was to examine the gametophyte resistance capacity to dewatering (at the level of pollen) and sporophyte resistance capacity to dewatering (at the level of seeds) of different tomato genotypes.
