In Ukraine, farms and household plots of the population represent 45% of the total poultry of all types. This market segment is successfully developing thanks to the use of alternative poultry technologies to obtain environmentally friendly, organic products. The aim of the work is to assess the economic efficiency of using poultry with combined productivity - cockerels for meat, chickens - to obtain edible eggs. As a result of the research, the economic efficiency of using poultry with a dual direction of productivity has been shown, in which it is possible to raise cockerels for meat, and chickens - to obtain edible eggs. The profitability of the production of cockerel meat is 73.7-75.2%, respectively, with purebred breeding of Hercules chickens and the use of hybrids of the Ukrainian selection of Gray. The use of layers of meat and egg production direction allows you to get edible eggs with a profitability level of 7.2-26.8%.
