After a while of cultural and national separation, the writers from Bessarabia in the
60s found themselves in the situation of proving their national and cultural identity again.
The novel „Zbor frant” („Broken Flight”) by Vladimir Besleaga, by means of narrative identity,
highlights the reacquisition of this specific national feeling.
