The childrens problem that appeared in the Republic of Moldova as a result of the poverty which affected directly the family, is known under the following aspects: the childrenof the street, abandoned children, neglected and abused children, etc. The solving of the problem is imperative and requires the involvement of the government. Although some important measures have been taken in this direction, the social policy of the child and family protection is still inefficient because of the incoherence of the taken measures, of the polarization of the quantity and quality of the services, the lack of a qualified staff in the spher of social work as well as the imperfection of the legal framework.
