The study of the problems of a modern family in a social context is the actual problem for both society and science. The family’s emotional state affects the society, economy, state, etc. The article focuses on the results of the study of social representations of domestic violence among the Comrat State University students. Identification of social representations of destructive social phenomena will help solve the problem more effectively by influencing the perceptions and, thus, changing the patterns of young people’s social behavior.
