The first stage of Vladimir Besleaga’s formation as a writer was a game, entertainment,
while writing ironic-sprightly verses. But on the 12th of March 1963 there occurred a change,
the writer experienced the revelation that the act of writing was a joy. From this discovery
everything changed and everything turned into another direction. From rigid and formal,
being maintained on the opaque surface of the word and precise phrase articulated on one
dimension, that of an immediate grammatical, equivocal meaning, his creation has become
ontological and polyphonic.
