Rezumat

The present study aims to investigate the Burnout in teaching. The study is built upon the theoretical model proposed by C.Maslach, where Burnout occurs when job demands exceed job resources for a prolonged period of time. Under the Burnout sindrom is viewed as an erosion of job involvement and manifests itself as a feeling of emotional depletion and reduction in job performance. Burnout is the intense feeling of stress, physical and emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and depression. Another symptom of teach Burnout includes: anxiety and frustration, impaired performance, lack of motivation, lost of meaning in profession; teachers feel overwhelmed and often lack self confidence.
