Rezumat

The daily reality shows that we are dealing with all categories of manipulation in all fields of activity, in interpersonal, professional and couple relations. When you want to convince a person of a certain thing, you will consciously or unconsciously use all the techniques you know to get what you want. Some of the individuals think this isn't manipulation. But it can be, if it is executed completely on all three main lines: verbal, nonverbal and paraverbal. When you've convinced a person to do what you want, it's about manipulation. If it is a hidden interest, we are talking about manipulation only in the interest of the person who exercises it, if for the person being manipulated it is a good thing we are talking about manipulation in the interest of the manipulated, there is also a third category of manipulation, namely the satisfaction of the interest of both persons, we are dealing with a double positive manipulation. Manipulation in banking, as well as handling in everyday life, exists at every turn. However, the question arises in whose interest it is made: manipulation only in the interest of the person exercising it (negative manipulation), manipulation in the interest of the person manipulated (positive manipulation), manipulation aimed at satisfying both persons (double positive manipulation). Given the professional environment, the ethics, the code of conduct regulated by the bank, the clients of both the external ones of the bank and the internal ones (colleagues, bosses, subordinates) the manipulation can only be a double positive one. In the case of manipulation, sometimes the problem is approached a little differently, in the sense that some of us say that it is manipulation when we do not even realize that someone has taken us to a certain point. So, the manipulator manages to get another person to act in a certain way without that person realizing it. It is obvious that we are dealing with manipulation, even with an advanced form of it.
The article addresses the different handling techniques used by the banking staff according to their role in the organization: execution or management and research on the existence of significant differences between management and execution staff in terms of the degree of handling.
