An independent, impartial and contradictory court is the prerequisite of democracy and freedom. In turn, it’s hard to imagine a judgment without a hearing, which is a „weapon‖ of a free person who is protecting and supporting his position about the truth on the playing field. Exposing some aspects of the subject of hearing, we strive for the fact that the ideals proclaimed by the judicial reform should transform into realities of domestic criminal justice. The culture of achievement of criminal justice, people’s mentality which is involved in administration of justice can’t be redirected immediately and emergency by strict regulatory requirements. By subject matter within this article we want to bring a small contribution to the process of scientific training of persons involved in the administration of justice in the spirit of judicial democracy and of protection of person’s rights.
