In this article are presented the results of research regarding the effectiveness of applying different methods for the control of weeds in orchards. It was found that the use of mechanical method does not allow for destruction of perennial weeds. That is why, it is necessary for the carrying out of several works during the period of vegetation. Application of herbicides allows complete destruction of the aerial parts, but the root system is not completely destroyed, this fact leads to their regeneration after a period of time. Performing in complex, the application of herbicides and mechanical works are more effective at destroying the aerial parts and root system. |
