Rezumat

The article elucidated Parliamentary Oversight of public administration. Constitutional means and instruments are analyzed as opportunities in reach of parliamentary control over the executive Members in general and public administration in particular. The extent of Parliament’s control function, scope and forms corresponding to the political regime are described. The objective of the research in this article is to present the current state of the practical exercise of Parliament's control over public administration and how the relationship between the legislative and executive organs functions. The theme of this research is a relevant topic from the prospective of: 1. The development of the institution of parliamentary oversight, 2. An effective application of methods and tools of parliamentary control over public administration, and 3. Respect for the principle of separation of powers and collaboration in order to avoid a power ascendancy over another, respectively exclusion of authoritarian abuse as well as satisfaction of the needs of the society.
