Although composition is one of the most productive word-building processes in modern English, it still implies many confusions and discussions when coming across, and our main intention is to explain the complexities of compounding phenomena, identify them from derivation, interpret the compounding features that distinguish them from free groups, outline difficulties of classifying them properly, and finally, to give different perspectives of the same topic: compound process. |
