Rezumat

After reannexation of Bessarabia to the USSR in 1944, the pseudo reanimated Moldovan statehood -Moldavian SSR, are resumed the old practice of denationalization and Russification of the majority of the population. In a short time, the school became one of the main instruments of such policies. The main leverage in achieving a proper purpose was the imposition of Russian language as a school subject, and in many schools in the urban area - as the language of instruction. To justify the forced imposition of Russian language, have served to „scientific” arguments provided by specialists in „Philology Moldovan”,seeking to demonstrate that the majority of the population had an undeveloped language, which did not allow the adequate training and educating the young generations. For imposing such historical-philological „discoveries”, even in this first year of Soviet occupation, has been implemented the calling method of the regular teaching conferences, within which were debated issues of language, culture and history of the „Moldovan people”. The army of "experts" who have dwelled on these lands, with a short time ago, in the composition of the various structures of foreign occupation, from the tribunes of those conferences, promoted the lie in order to redesign teacher's mentality, inherited from the „Romanian bourgeois-landlord regime”. „The Linguists”, arrived from elsewhere, claimed, within those pedagogical meetings, that Moldovans have never had a culture of its own; they are simply „bastards”. It is stated that „many of the words used by „Moldovans” are of Slavonic origin, because the vast majority of the population lives near slave civilization”. The process of Russification of the young generations in schools, gains momentum in the coming years. For a more efficient Russification, the number of hours of Russian-language lessons were increased. In accordance with the provisions of C.C. of the P.C.(B) „knowledge of the Russian language was supposed to help to improve the level of culture in the society”. The study of Russian language and literature had to be introduced in all educational institutions. In schools, with Moldovan instruction, after graduation of 4 forms, pupils had to know the Russian language perfectly.
