After the reocupation of the territory to the east of the river Prut by Soviet troops, party and state institutions were reestabilished in Nisporeni, which promoted a policy of limiting the rights of the native population and economic oppression. It was organized the deportation of wealthy people. Collective farms were created, through which the local population could be easily economically exploited. All these had serious consequences on the people’s life from Nisporeni and other localities.
