Studiul analizează relația dintre tipurile de atașament și dependența jocurilor de noroc. Studiul a fost realizat pe un lot de 121 de persoane cu probleme de jocuri de noroc din care: 34,7% sunt jucători cu probleme de dependență, 33,1% sunt jucători cu risc moderat, iar 32,2% sunt jucători cu risc scăzut. În funcție de tipurile de atașament s-a constat că: 31,4% dintre participanți au predominant tipul de atașament securizant, 39,7% au un atașament anxios, iar 28,9% au atașament evitant. Analiza statistică a rezultatelor obținute a arătat că persoanele cu tipul de atașament securizant înregistrează un indice de severitate a dependenței mic și astfel au un nivel scăzut de probleme. De asemenea, participanții care au obținut un indice de severitate a dependenței mare au un tip de atașament anxios, iar cei care au înregistrat un indice de severitate moderat au un atașament evitant.

The study investigates the relationship between the types of attachment and gambling addiction. The study was made on a group of 121 gambling players of which: 34.7% are addicted players, 33.1% are moderate risk players, and 32.2% are low risk players. Depending on the types of attachment, it was found that: 31.4% of participants have predominantly the type of secure attachment, 39.7% have an anxious attachment, and 28.9% have avoidant attachment. Statistical analysis of the results obtained showed that people with the type of secure attachment have a low dependency severity index and thus have a low level of problems. Also, participants who obtained a high severity index have a type of anxious attachment, and those who recorded a moderate severity index have an avoidant attachment.
