Rezumat

Meteorological observations is one of the concerns chroniclers, foreign travelers and book Knowing that meant different occasions on the blank man-uscript or printed information about the evolution of time. Century XVI infor-mation about manifestations of climate Moldavia are occasional and quite brief. Chroniclers, describing historical events, offers and some incidental men-tion of natural phenomena that influenced the course of socio-political and economic life of the country. 1504 was very difficult because of the cold winter and rainy summer, causing major flooding. Heavy winters were the years 1545, 1552, 1556, 1585. Summary information about the warm seasons, especially summer, there for 1538, as indicated excessive heat. The eighteenth century is presented as complicated in terms of climate. Testimonies of foreign travelers is known that summer 1620 was comprised of heat and drought. The information stored signals a harsh winter during the reign of Miron Barnovschi (1633). A cold winter was in 1691-1692, when due to frost froze humans and animals. According to information, in the second half of this century signaled rainy spring in 1661 and floods in 1670 and 1677; Late spring snow in the years 1682, 1686 and 1699; dry years – 1683 and 1686. From the old notes have ob-tained information about climate state in 51 years of the eighteenth century. In this century there were ten years drought 14 years the winter was difficult, lengthy or snowy, 13 warm winters are certified eight late spring, the snow or held in March and April. Snowmelt caused flooding, especially in river valleys, so that in the years 1706 and 1729 occurred after massive floods which drowned people and animals. They also found seven springs with lack of rain-fall. In the nineteenth century time status information in the historic Moldova become more diverse. Besides data on manuscripts and old prints are relevant systematic meteorological observations.
