In this article are described 44 copies of printed books in Slavonic in the XVIIth and XVIIIth centuries in the library of the monastery the New Neamț in Bessarabia. Chițcani monastery is considered one of the most important spiritual centres in Bessarabia in the second half of the nineteenth century to the present. The first cards were brought from 1861 onwards Neamț monastery of nuns, which settled on his estates Copanca and Chitcani. Andronic Popovici sent him his co-struggler in Bessarabia's hieromonk Isihie Donici with a suitcase full of icons and church books. In the same year, Andronic brought 30 ancient manuscripts, some copied in XIVth century. Since the formation of the monastery, the monks have filled the library with old religious books. Most books are in Russian, which proves the Neamț monastery links with culture and spiritual centers in the East-Slavic.
