Rezumat

The study „Cantemiriana: Some necessary clarifications” includes 4 aspects in which the authors come with interpretations and explanations on Dimitrie Cantemir and his works. In the first sequence, the delimitation of two lineage with the same name „Cantemir" is proposed, one Romanian and the other Tartar, but each with different spelling. In the second - Cantemir's vision regarding the „Moldovan language" is highlighted, which, according to the authors, is one and the same with the population of Wallachia and Transylvania, the fact silenced by Soviet historiography. In the third one, authors bring to the fore the issue of D. Cantemir's opinion on the paternity of „Ureche's chronicle", showing that the author was Nestor Ureche (15501618) and not his son Grigore (1590-1647). The fourth part of the work is focused on the fact related by D. Cantemir, about a second „Chronicle" that was completed by 1718, a writing that had as main sources the chronicles of Ureche and Miron Costin, complemented with informations from foreign historians’s studies, covering the years 1359-1661, piece of work that has not been discovered so far.
