The research object represents the imaginary structures and propagandistic models/formulas „fabricated in the process of organizing the official commemorations and celebrations for the purpose of manipulating public opinion, inoculating the post-imperial resentments and of surviving the secessionist regime in Tiraspol. The mechanisms of war culture and mythology are explained, which vehiculates images and rites of solidarity meant to sustain the separatist enclave in a continuous state of „besieged fortress, hostile to the processes of democratization and modernization.
