In this documentary the author proposes the translated version (from Polish) of six Polish reports from 1935-1936. The reports were consulted in the Central Archive of Modern Records from Warsaw, the funds of the Legations from Prague and Wien, Consulate from Chisinau and the Polish interwar Ministry of Foreign Affairs. These reports contain information on such issues as – 1) the expectations of the Romanian-Soviet negotiations on rebuilding of the bridge on Dniester at Tighina (Bender), 2) the results of this conference with the decision to open the circulation in August 1935; 3) the position of Titulescu on the conception of the Romanias external affairs in the context of contradictions with other politicians in late 1935;4) the echoes of the uninviting of Poland to Paris conference, in the Bessarabian press and also the explanation of the originality of the Polish Foreign Policy; 5) information on transit of the Soviet trains through Romania to Hungary and on Hungarian-Soviet commercial relations; 6) the dismissal of Titulescu and the promisses of the Romanian Prime-minister to be more closer to Poland. |
