Rezumat

Social responsibility is the foundation on which the whole system of relations in society is built and is an integral element in the macrosystem people-state-business-society. Corporate social responsibility is possible under condition of achievement of the sustainable development of independent and responsible companies and organizations, what meets their long-term interests, contributes to the achievement of social peace, security, welfare, environmental preservation and human rights observance. The need to enhance the social responsibility of agricultural enterprises is substantiated by given the specificity and complexity of its implementation. The reasons for the low level of socio-economic impact are revealed, development priorities in the context of the stakeholders and the main measures of social responsibility strengthening of the agricultural business in Ukraine are identified.
