For several years, the Karakul breeding rams were tested annually according to the quality of the descendants. Within the breeding farm of TES „Maximovca“, three lines of rams were established of the colors: black, light grey and sur (buhar). In order to determine the classification of the lambs, according to the assessment instruction, at birth each lamb was appreciated according to a series of indices after the decimal system such as: the type of loop, the weight of valuable loops on the surface of furring cover, size, length, loop strength, the silkyness and luster of the furring cover, density and thickness of the fibers, density, thickness and skin book, phenotypic characteristics of the breed. Following the appreciation of the breeding rams according to the quality of the descent were determined the weight of high ranking elite and class I lambs on the selected rams lines and compared with the indices obtained on average per flock. On the black ram line "Corpolent 7094" for the period from the founding of the line until 2018, a total of 1002 lambs were obtained. From the group of obtained lambs, 873 lambs possessed the elite class and I-st class which represents 87.1 ± 1.06%. In total on the flock, for the same period of time, a total of 6120 lambs were obtained and of which the elite and class I respectively 4899 lambs or what constitutes 80.00 ± 0.51%. Reproductive black-spotted rams outnumber the flock by 7.1% (P <0.001). On the light grey rams line "Delicat 2049" a total of 1449 lambs were obtained on the line, of which 1206 were first class and elite. The weight of the superior ranking offspring represents 83.23 ± 0.98%, and in total per flock in this period 6120 lambs were obtained, out of which 4899 of class I and the elite representing 80.00 ± 0.51%. The difference in the weight of higher ranking lambs on the flock of light grey line (3.2%) truly exceeds the share per herd (P <0.01). On the sur ram line "Buhar 7001" were obtained a total of 1101 lambs, of which 940 lambs of class I and elite. The weight of high ranking lambs (elite and class I) was 85.38 ± 1.06%. A total of 5639 lambs were obtained per flock, including the elite and class I, respectively 4542 lambs. The weight of the requested ranking lambs was 80.55 ± 0.53%. The offspring of rams of the true sur line exceed by 4.83% (P <0.001) the weight of offspring in total per flock.
